Lucille was born December 23, 1920, to Mr. and Mrs. William Hantsbarger in Cherokee, IA. She graduated from Cherokee High School in 1939 and also graduated from Samuelson Beauty School.

She worked many years as a beautician and always cared how her hair looked even when she was in the nursing home.

Lucille was a longtime member of St. Paul's Methodist Church. She enjoyed playing golf and belonged to bridge club and a women's circle at church.

She had 5 grandchildren: Lisa Bergman and husband Dan from Gainesville, FL; Chad Cunningham and wife Kim from Woodstock, GA; Lance Borrink and wife Michelle of Sun City West, AZ; Rosemary Prin and husband Andrew of Champlin, MN; and Alissa Borrink of Minneapolis, MN. She had 12 great grandchildren.

Memorial contributions may be made to Careage Hills Nursing Home where she lived her last year and experienced exceptional love and care.
