Ronald LeRoy Sechler, the son of Roy and Fern (Moody) Sechler, was born in Meriden, Iowa on January 20, 1933. His childhood years were spent in Meriden, and he graduated from Meriden High School in 1951. During the Korean conflict, he proudly served in the United States Air Force as a Gunner on a B29.

He was united in marriage to Edith Gronemeyer in LeMars, Iowa on June 15, 1957. Todd, Mary and Family,
Sorry to hear the loss of your dad and also sorry for not being able to be there for you. I remember shooting pool with Ron in pool league, he was always a fun match to play with win or loose he went away smiling! But there was always a FIRM handshake at the end of each match! He will be missed.
