Annabelle Paulsen
January 9, 1939 - December 6, 2014
Annabelle (Regennitter) Paulsen was born on a farm near Washta, IA, on January 9, 1939, to Albert Regennitter and Mae (Coon-Hollingshead) Regennitter. She spent her youth in rural Washta, Anthon, and Correctionville, IA. She attended Washta Consolidated School until the 11th grade. She enjoyed making many memories with all of her 18 siblings.

She was united in marriage to LeRoy Paulsen at 7:30 pm on February 18, 1958, in a double-ring candlelight ceremony at the Washta Methodist Church. She worked at a turkey plant in Storm Lake, Randall's Bakery and Speelman's Steak House in Cherokee.

Annabelle enjoyed many things in life. She loved to crochet, and made many wonderful afghans and other items for people. She was always up for a good game of BINGO, Buck Euchre or UNO. She had a love of gardening, country music, playing games on her computer, and thoroughly enjoyed having her grandchildren and great-grandchildren visit as often as they could.

Annabelle was reunited with her beloved LeRoy, when she passed away at her home in Washta

on December 6, 2014, at the age of 75, and was reunited with her beloved LeRoy. Just looked back at Cherokee's records and was so sorry to see the loss of Annabelle! She was such a fun and spunky person to visit with. I used to be her case manager when I lived and worked up in Cherokee. I got to know your family and was there when your dad passed. Thinking of you and the family.
