Mary was contagiously happy and friendly. She welcomed our family into 4-H with open arms and always embraced us with hugs when we came into the extension office. She was bubbly and friendly when she answered the phone. She made everyone around her feel better in minutes. I am thankful for knowing her and for being on the receiving end of her many hugs! I worked with Mary at Valley Pharmacy and then had the wonderful pleasure of working with her again as an Extension Council member and with our boys in 4-H. She was one of the hardest working women I have ever met. She would lend a hand in any task and always did it with a laugh and smile. She also touched many young people's hearts with her involvement in 4-H and the County Council Kids. Honestly, they loved her. She was always lurking with IPad taking photos for Facebook and her energy and enthusiasm was contagious! She will be missed by so many but the people she touched and the memories made will bless us forever. Thinking of you all and sending our sympathies.

Mary's spirit and spark were so bright they cannot be dimmed. She will continue to live on in all of those who knew her and loved her. I am honored to have called her my friend. I cherish the time we worked together and even when we had not seen each other for a long time, we could always pick up right where we left off. When I think of Mary, I think of her positive attitude, the little jump in her step, her laugh and the matter of fact way she looked at things. She had common sense, a wonderful work ethic and was truly a wonderful human being. Her girls will always have a guardian angel and I find some comfort thinking of her being with Kari and Aja.
