So deeply sorry to hear of your loss. I remember Vern from high school games and seeing him around Cherokee when I was younger. He loved kids. He would always talk to you. My thoughts and prayers are with your family.

I know you don't know me but I used to see your father when he came into Victory Cleaners to see my boss, Rodney Maffin. I always got a kick out of those two. They were good friends. I wish to extend my deepes sympathy to your family. He was a great guy.

My sympathy to the family. Loosing another cousin this year is so sad. Vernon spent some time at my parents' farm when I was young.
My eyesight is not normal anymore, so I don't travel very far at this time.
My love,
Conley Harder Wolterman, Ida Grove, Ia.
