Barbara Jenness
Barbara Jenness, 68, of Quimby, Iowa
passed away on October 30, 2007 at Country Side Estates, Cherokee, Iowa
following a lengthy illness.
Services will be Friday November 2, 2007 at 10:30 A.M. at the
United Methodist
Church in Quimby, Iowa
with Rev. Carolyn Hollar officiating. Burial will
follow at Silver Township
Cemetery in rural Quimby, Iowa. Visitation will be held on Thursday from 11:00
A.M. to 9:00 P.M. at the Greenwood Funeral Home with family present from 6:30

Barbara was born on July 18, 1939 in Holstein, Iowa
to Harry and Helen (Cipperley) Kaus. She graduated from High School in Holstein. Barb was
a waitress for many years in Quimby serving people in
her Café. On March 30, 1998 she married
John Jenness in Cherokee, Iowa.
He preceded her in death. She was
a member of the Quimby American Legion Auxillary, the Cherokee V.F.W., and the Quimby
Garden Club.
She is survived by four sons, Merlin Hunt of Marcus, Iowa;
Darwin Hunt of Richmond, Virginia; Mark Hunt and his wife, Teresa, of Holstein,
Iowa; Elmer Hunt of Warden, Washington;
12 grandchildren; one brother, Robert Kaus of
Holstein, Iowa; two sisters, June Hahn of Redwood Falls, Minnesota, Elaine Hahr of Missoula, Montana.
She was preceded in death by her husband John Jenness and her parents.
