Romayne A. Huegerich

 

Romayne A. Huegerich, 72, of Marcus, Iowa died at his home following a brief illness.  There will be no services. Romayne was born on November 13, 1934 in Carroll, Iowa to Bernard and Agnes (Koch) Huegerich.  He graduated from Storm Lake Public High School in 1953.  After his schooling he worked at Hy-Grade Packing Plant in Sioux City.  He then moved to Anaheim, California where he owned and operated Public Television, repairing and selling televisions.  In 1988 he moved back to Iowa living in Cherokee and then Marcus presently.  He did maintenance work at the nursing home in Marcus.

 

He is survived by three sons, Kevin Huegerich of Moreno Valley, California, Alex Huegerich and his wife, Jennifer, of San Diego, California, Ricky Huegerich of Soledad, California; 4 grandsons and 4 granddaughters; 1 great-grandson; two sisters, Violet Cosgrove and her husband, Ken, of Camarillo, California, Agnes Huegerich of Cortez, Colorado.

 

He was preceded in death by his parents, a son Steve (2002), and a granddaughter Violet (1995).
