Raymond Glover

Raymond Glover, the son of Ralph and Marcella (Rupp) Glover, was born October 3, 1950, in Cherokee, IA. His childhood years were spent in Quimby, IA. In 1979, he moved with his parents to Cherokee until 1999 when he moved to Carriage Hills Nursing Home until the time of his death. Raymond may have had many struggles during his life with various medical conditions, but he was always happy and loved everyone he met. He was an avid Chicago Cubs fan and enjoyed watching any baseball game he could find on television. Ray also enjoyed Diet Coke and was known to play pranks on the nursing staff at Careage Hills. Most of all he loved spending time with family and friends. On November 3, 2015, Ray passed away at Careage Hills Nursing Home at the age of 65. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ralph and Marcella Glover; his aunt, Mildred Rupp; uncle, Wilmer Rupp; maternal grandparents, John and Anna Rupp; and paternal grandparents, Herman and Agusta Khurts. He is survived by his siblings, Mary Ann (Richard) Gagnom of Fall River, Massachusetts; Jean (Ed) Heinen, of Cherokee, Iowa, Harold "Butch" Glover, of Cherokee, IA, and Charles "Chuck" (Ingrid) Glover of Schweinfurt, Germany; he is also survived by several nieces; nephews; other relatives; and friends.
