Dan drove truck for over 30 years. The majority of that time spent with Allied Moving and Storage, and later with Myrl & Roy Trucking out of Sioux Falls, SD. He was part of a group of friends that gathered at the truck stop every morning at 4AM for coffee. In his free time he enjoyed fishing and reading. When he was younger he loved riding his horses and watching horror movies. Dan was a family man, and relished any time he could find to be with his family.
Dan passed away at his sister's home in Remsen, IA, on May 6, 2017, following a brief illness. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Florence Mildred 'Sissy' Dailey.
