“I am sadden with the news of Kay's death. Jerry you and Kay have always had a special place in mine and my children's hearts. I so loved visiting with you and so appreciated your support. Your taking the time to come to my wedding and Larissa's graduation, it meant so much to us to have you here. My children always loved going over to visit you when we were your neighbor. They so enjoyed also helping Kay relearn math after her first stroke. Your Christmas letter had mentioned that Kay had had some health issues this past year but she was a fighter, to the point of wanting to come home during the tornado. Kay was a very loving person and will be sadly missed by all of us. I send our love to you Jerry and your family.”
