“Dear Mr. and Mrs. Larson, Dave and Families: I was sorry to hear of Joy's passing and I extend my condolences to all of you on your loss. Joy is remembered as a kind and thoughtful person who enjoyed friends and sharing time with them. You can take comfort in knowing that she is lovingly in the arms of the Lord and that her love for all of you will always be with you to warm your heart and reassure you. Your faith is strong, knowing that there is a greater unseen purpose at hand that will be made clear to you at some point in time. We have had you and Joy in our prayers for God's healing energy. God Blesses you all, Mark Cunningham ”

“I just found about Joy 2 Days ago... Joy's Mom & Dad please call me. This is Rita, Joy's good friend and old Roommate. Joy & I met six years ago when she moved to Colorado Springs from Loveland where she rented one of the properties I managed. Since then we had become very close always looked out for each other. We were the closest thing we had to family in Colorado. After not seeing each other for the last 9 months hung out all day and shared our recent hardships & cried together. That evening she and her friend Cameron attended an Exchange Club meeting with me (a non-profit organization that helps other non-profits; specifically in the prevention of child abuse) and we all became members. She was so happy. She'd said it was exactly what she needed to lift her spirits. She was supposed to be moving into a place (hotel/community/assisted living) I put her in contact with to help her get back on her feet and help her get expedited disability & proper medical coverage. I contacted Ray Castillo, the owner, yesterday and he said she was supposed to come by their place last week, but never showed up. What happened?!? Where's Frankie? Please call me if you can. My work # is 719-955-3000 and my cell # is 727-808-8096. God Bless to all her wonderful family she loved so very much.”

“So sorry for your family's loss.
Though she was a little bit older than I, we used to play together when we were children while she would be spending time in Aurelia with her Grandma Larson, I lived in the neighborhood.
I have fond memories of spending time with her then.
My now husband Tom went to school with her.”

“I was notified on Facebook that Joy passed on. I am soooooo sorry for all of you, but especially her parents. Never should our children preceed us in death & it is a particularly hideous loss when that does occur. I lived with Joy & her friend Gayle D'Orsi out in Denver for a short time. We had a lot of fun & did that I 80 road trip more than once. may she rest in peace. Again, I am soooo incredibly sorry.”
