“Wanda and family,
Jon notified me that Darrell passed away yesterday - I so wish I lived closer and would be able to attend the funeral. I am so sorry for your lost, but please know that you all will be in my thoughts and prayers. I missed seeing him at Jerry's funeral, but wanted you to know that Darrell was always so kind to me whenever I saw him and always was so glad when I would get a call from him. I missed his last call on New Years Day as I was gone, but it was good to hear his voice and he left me such a sincere and kind message. I know you and Darrell were close and it will be lonesome without him, but know that he is no longer suffering and I can just hear him 'Hey Mom - it's good to see you - I'm home'. Love to you all, Cousin Joanne”
