“Oh how Uncle Dick loved life. i have such special memories of being with Dick and Marilyn. We went to the OC fair, an Angel game in Anaheim, a trip to Disneyland a BBQ at the farm and Dan and Marlis 's wedding in Iowa. I even saw a group shot from Doug's and my wedding. More recently were the visits at moms home.... and now he is Home. He is with loved ones and now we will see him in God's home. Praising our Lord for the hope we have in Jesus. He will be missed. Know that you are loved and prayed for,”

“ I have fond memories growing up in Cherokee. Dick, Marilyn, Dan and Scott were neighbors to my family. Riding horses, wiffle ball, minibikes, camping, cherry trees and especially selling sweet corn on Highway 3 in the summer. The years have separated me from my neighbors but I've never forgotten all the good times . Prayers to my good neighbor family.

Dr. Greg Gerdes, OD , Omaha, Nebraska.”
