“I have so many fond memories of Rita coming to our house in Marcus when we were kids. She was always laughing and cheerful and a good friend for many, many years to our mother, Hazel Rupp. She really enjoyed life. I can still hear that distinctive laugh of hers. She was always one of our favorite relatives. Our thoughts are with her beautiful family. The video was terrific.”

“I am Hilda and Lester Rupp's granddaughter (daughter of Roger and Opal Rupp). Though I have not seen Rita much since grandma died and I moved away from home, I have many fond memories of her. Aunt Rita used to come to many of my band concerts, dance performances and spelling bees with grandma. I always appreciated their support. When I went to MMC Middle School in Cleghorn, Aunt Rita let me come to her house after school for snacks and to spend time together. If was sick and could not contact my parents, she let me come over until Mom and Dad were available.”
