Alice L. Todd

Alice L. Todd, the daughter of Eli and Luvia Heath, was born October 30, 1927, in Correctionville, IA. Her childhood years were spent in Correctionville where she received her education. On November 27, 1944, Alice was united in marriage to John G. Todd at Dakota City, NE. In 1957, they moved to Quimby where they farmed for many years. Alice also owned and operated the Quimby Caf� for five years. Alice was a member of the Quimby United Methodist Church. She enjoyed her flower garden, fishing, traveling, cooking, visiting, and most of all, spending time with her grandchildren. On September 19, 2015, Alice passed away at the Careage Hills Nursing Home at the age of 87. She was preceded in death by her parents, Eli and Luvia Heath; and her brothers and sisters. She will lovingly be remembered by her children, Dot (Bob) Carstens of Quimby, IA, Douglas Todd of Custer, SD; grandchildren: Todd Carstens, Rob Carstens, John (Megan) Carstens, Jaeson Todd, Chad Todd, and Amanda Todd; six great-grandchildren, Justin Todd, Alora Todd, Ryder Todd, Courtney Carstens, Connor Carstens, and Kipton Carstens; special grand nieces, Deb (Jeff) Lillefloren and Jan (Mark) Cassel; she is also survived by other relatives and friends.
