Beulah M. Zimmer

 Beulah Mae Zimmer, the daughter of Irl and Jennie (Olson) Creswell, was born November 15, 1930, in Boyden, IA. Her childhood years were spent in Boyden where she attended school and graduated from Boyden High School.

 After school she moved to Oregon where she did bookkeeping and secretarial work for a couple years. On January 30, 1960, she was united in marriage to Floyd Zimmer in Sioux City, IA. They were blessed with two children, Diane and Dale. Beulah worked from home where she helped on the farm.

 Beulah loved to raise vegetables in her garden. She also enjoyed canning, sewing, traveling, and spending time researching and talking about their genealogy. She was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Cherokee.

 On Wednesday, July 6, 2022, Beulah passed away at Accura Healthcare in Cherokee, IA, at the age of 91. She was preceded in death by her parents, Irl and Jennie Creswell; husband, Floyd Zimmer; son, Dale Zimmer; sister in infancy, Hazel Creswell; and two brothers, Ceil Creswell and Curtis Creswell.

 She will lovingly be remembered by her daughter, Diane Zimmer and her husband, Tom Austin of Lakeville, MN; daughter-in-law, Kathy Zimmer of Marcus, IA; two grandsons, John Zimmer and his fiancé Erica Dreckman of Cherokee, IA, and Jeremy Zimmer of Cherokee, IA; granddaughter, Jennie Zimmer of Arthur, IA; two great-granddaughters, Apryl and Sarah Mesler; and nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

SERVICES
A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, July 14, 2022, at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Cherokee.

VISITATION
Public visitation with family present will be held from 5:00-7:00 p.m. Wednesday night at the Greenwood-Schubert Funeral Home in Cherokee. There will be a 7:00 p.m. prayer service following the visitation at the funeral home.
INTERMENT
Maryhill Visitation Cemetery
