Connie Faye Biberdorf

Connie Faye (Smith) Biberdorf was born on June 23, 1949, a child of Manfred and Hildegard Smith of Cherokee. She attended boarding school at Marty Mission High School in Wagner, SD.

 On October 11, 1969, Connie Smith and Delbert Biberdorf were united in marriage at The Methodist Church in Quimby, IA. They made their home in Cherokee. Connie spent many years at home with the children, but also worked at the Cherokee Regional Medical Center and the Hy-Vee Distribution Center. She loved camping, cooking,  casinos and any time spent with family and friends.

 She will lovingly be remembered by her children, Paul (Shannon) Biberdorf of Lincoln, NE, Laura Biberdorf of Fort Dodge, IA and Laci Thompson ( Chris Hoover) of Moorland, IA and grandchildren Brody and Blythe Biberdorf, Amari Bonner and Tony and Julie Thompson. Also, siblings Rosie Hanson, Kenny (Wanda) Smith, Robert Smith, Patty (Gary) Gleason, Edward Smith, Louie (Vickie) Smith, Linda Lumbert, Michael Smith, Judy (Jeff) Miller and in-laws Frank Clymens, Donnie (Karen) Biberdorf and David (Roberta) Biberdorf and many special nieces and nephews.

 She was preceded in death by her husband of 48 years Delbert Biberdorf, her parents Manfred and Hildegard Smith, mother and father-in-law Oscar and Vera Biberdorf, brothers Manfred (Fred) Smith, Jr. and James Smith, sister-in-law, Deanna Clymens; brother-in-law Robert (Bob) Hanson, uncle Henry Hanson, aunt Alice Hanson and niece Trudy Denery.
