Dollie M. Morton

June 5, 1931 — January 19, 2019

Dollie Marie Morton, the daughter of Robert and Sally (Morrison) Conner was born June 5, 1931, near Seney, IA. Her childhood years were spent in Le Mars, Peterson, and Linn Grove, IA. She attended and graduated from Linn Grove High School. Following her schooling, she worked at Sioux Valley Hospital in Cherokee. She later worked as a psychiatric aide at the Cherokee Mental Health Institute.
Dollie was united in marriage to Bill Paschal and later to Norman Morton.
She was active in many things especially the Cherokee Depot. Dollie also was an avid gardener who enjoyed canning her vegetables. She enjoyed all types of crocheting and sewing, was a member of the Cherokee Specialty Care Auxiliary, and was volunteered her time at her church, as well as the Friends of Conservation. 
On Saturday, January 19, 2019, Dollie passed away at the Cherokee Regional Medical Center at the age of 87. She was preceded by both husbands, Bill Paschal and Norman Morton; her parents, Robert and Sally Morrison; and one brother, Donald Conner.
She will lovingly be remembered by her two sisters, Virginia Whittenburg of Cherokee and Doris Van Buren of Spencer, IA; she is also survived by several nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
SERVICES
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, January 24, 2019, at the First Church of Christ in Cherokee, IA.
