Doris Edna McNeeley

September 13, 1943 — July 6, 2022

Doris Edna McNeeley, the daughter of Lincoln and Edna (Nohrenberg) McCormick, was born September 13, 1943, in Paynesville, MN. Her family moved to Graettinger, IA, Gruver, IA, before settling in Estherville, IA, where she received her education. After school, she worked at PG Gray’s chicken and egg processing plant. She later moved to Des Moines, IA where she worked in the hotel and motel housekeeping department until her retirement.

She then moved to Spencer, IA, and became an active member of Faith Pentecostal Church in Spencer. Doris enjoyed many activities over the years including swimming, roller skating, and attending movies. She also enjoyed playing cards, working on puzzles, and attending dances with her friends. Most of all she enjoyed time spent with her family and friends.

On Wednesday, July 6, 2022, Doris passed away at the Spencer Hospital at the age of 78. She was preceded in death by her parents, Lincoln and Edna McCormick.

She will lovingly be remembered by her daughter, Tina McCormick of Lincoln, NE; grandson, Jordan McCormick (Erin Hugen) of Sibley, IA, and their twin children, Luke and Rose McCormick; siblings, Dee Iseminger of Estherville, IA, Patsy (Jerome) Day of Cherokee, IA, and Philip (Christi) McCormick of Clear Lake, IA; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

SERVICES
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday, July 11, 2022, at Faith Pentecostal Church in Spencer, Iowa.

VISITATION
Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the church.
INTERMENT
Oak Hill Cemetery
Cherokee, Iowa
