Doris Paltz

Doris Ann Paltz, the daughter of John and Leona (Fernholz) Kleinschmit, was born December 27, 1929, in St. Helena, NE. Her childhood years were spent in St. Helena where she attended school. On December 27, 1929, Doris was united in marriage to Kenneth Paltz. Kenneth preceded her in death in 1994. Doris stayed at home and raised their family. She enjoyed gardening and flowers. She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Leona Kleinschmit; and one granddaughter, Amy Paltz. She is survived by five children: Robert Paltz, and his wife, Janet, of San Antonio, TX, Connie Paltz of Springfield, VA, Roger Paltz, and his wife, Denise, of Valley Center, CA, John Paltz, and his wife Sharon of Aurelia, IA, and Paul Paltz, and his wife Michelle of Cherokee, IA; four sisters: Mariana (Norbert) Bollich of Fordyce, NE, Virginia (Don) Bergman of Hartington, NE, Dolorita (Kenneth) Uhing of Hartington, NE, and Carol (Fred) Pickleman of Wynot, NE; two brothers: Daniel (Roseann) Kleinschmit of Wausau, NE, and Larry (Pat) Kleinschmit of St. Helena, NE; 11 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; as well as other relatives; and friends.
