Kathleen 'Kitty' Mathilda Kohn, the daughter of Albert and Regina (Wilberding) Rupp was born June 23, 1928, in Cherokee, Iowa. A lifelong resident of Rock Township and the Maryhill Parish, her childhood years were spent on the family farm. Kitty was an active member of Maryhill Catholic Church, the Holy Tearers, and the Quimby Red Hat Society. She loved to play cards and belonged to several card clubs over the years.
