Margaret L. Nation

Margaret L. Nation was born Nov. 19, 1922, at Washta, Iowa, to Frank and Alice (Baker) Witcombe and attended school to the 11th grade in Iowa. She married Dale Nation Oct. 6, 1942, at Cherokee. They lived at Cherokee. Margaret was a housewife. She enjoyed reading her Bible, spending time with family and friends. They enjoyed traveling. Margaret was also a collector of nutcrackers. They moved to Mesa, Ariz., in 1981. They moved to Norfolk in 1991. She was a member of First Church of Christ, Cherokee. Survivors include two daughters, Linda and Carl Santee of Norfolk, Dian and Steve Sand of Chandler, Ariz., four grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by husband Dale in 2000.
SERVICES
Memorial graveside services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Friday, at the Cherokee Memory Gardens Cemetery.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, from 4:00-7:00 P.M. at the Stonacek Funeral Chapel in Norfolk, NE.
