Mark worked for Simonsen's, Harmon Heating, Holzauer's, Clark's Building Center and Taylor Refrigeration over the years and retired December 1, 2014, after working 29 years at the Cherokee REC (now Iowa Lakes Electric Cooperative). Mark's goal in life was to see all 50 states and he has done all but three, whether it was by car, snowmobile or motorcycle. He was a nature lover and loved to go out west to see the mountains! He loved woodworking especially making things for his family, including a walnut gun cabinet for his son Chris. He was a jack-of-all-trades and he and Debbie renovated an 1896 Victorian home for over 35 years.
