Patricia Maureen Keith

November 29, 1937 — July 9, 2015

Patricia Maureen Keith was born November 29, 1937, in Des Moines, IA. Her childhood years were spent in Cherokee where she graduated from Wilson High School. After school she was united in marriage to Richard Keith. They moved to California for many years while Richard was serving in the military. Patricia worked from home raising her three children. In 1972 she returned to Cherokee where she worked at Bomgaars, K Products, and most recently Careage Hills Nursing Home. Patricia enjoyed watching Jeopardy, crossword puzzles, reading books, and working in the yard. She also loved her coffee, popcorn, and any sweet treets. On Tuesday, July 7, 2015, Patricia passed away at her home in Cherokee. She was preceded in death by her mother, Gertrude Mulchaey; one son, Robert Keith; one granddaughter, Nicole; and son-in-law, Harold Medick. She is survived by her daughters, Deb Medick of Cherokee, IA, and Lori Moats of Wichita, KS; six grandchildren: Joe (Britt) Bierman of Lincoln, NE, Rachel (Rob) Woods of Andover, KS, Sarah (Tim) Smith of Cherokee, IA, Andrew (Jenna) Medick of Kingsley, IA, Tyler Moats of Wichita, KS, and Jenny Keith of Branson, MO; she is also survived by six great-grandchildren.

SERVICES

A public visitation will be held from 1:00-3:00 p.m. Sunday with the family present during that time at the Greenwood-Schubert Funeral Home in Cherokee.
