Phyllis Margaret Lindgren

October 29, 1929 — December 27, 2021

 Phyllis M. Lindgren was born October 29, 1929 in Aurelia, IA to Conrad and Helena (Peterson) Engdahl. She left this world on December 27, 2021. Phyllis attended Aurelia schools and graduated in 1947. She was baptized in the Lutheran Faith. She was confirmed at Bethlehem Lutheran Church in 1947.

 After graduating from high school, she worked for A&O Chevrolet Company in Cherokee as a bookkeeper. She was united in marriage to Harry Lindgren on March 30th 1950. They farmed near Meriden, IA for 40 years.

 Phyllis kept busy raising 4 daughters, doing interior painting and wallpapering for clients, doing planting and harvesting with Harry. She also was the custodian at CML Telephone Company for 15 years.

 She enjoyed her card clubs and Tripoli friends, along with getting together for coffee.

 Phyllis enjoyed fishing with Harry, and attending her grandkids and great-grandkids school and sporting events. She loved to bake for anybody’s birthday.

 She was preceded in death by her parents, her in-laws, her husband Harry, and her brothers and sisters.

 Phyllis is survived by her four daughters, Connie (Dave) Ladwig, Pat (Dennis) Augustine, Karen (Bob) Ferris, and Diane (Brad) Phipps; also 11 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.

SERVICES
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, December 31, 2021, at Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Cherokee, Iowa.
