Robert 'Curly' Corrington

Robert D. "Curly" Corrington, the son of Vere and Darlene (Caboth) Corrington was born October 8, 1948, in Cherokee, Iowa. His childhood years were spent in Cherokee where he attended school and graduated from Washington High School. He went on to attend Wayne State College in Wayne, NE and became a teacher. He lived in North Carolina before moving back to Cherokee in 2000 to assist with his elderly father. Curly loved horses. He was involved with the Cavaliers and shoed horses when needed. Most of all he enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. On April 1, 2017, Curly passed away at the Cherokee Regional Medical Center at the age of 68. He was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his siblings: Janice (Ronald) Witcombe of Cherokee, IA, Mike (Mary) Corrington of Perry, OK, and Doug (Stacey) Corrington of Hastings, MN; nieces and nephews and their children: Lori (Greg) Solsaa and their daughter Josi of Watertown, SD, Bart Corrington and his son Will of Tallahassee, FL, Tyler (Morgan) Corrington of Laramie, WY, and Dillon and fianc�e Kallie Baker of Hastings, MN; and other relatives and friends.
