Sue Wright

 Sue Wright, the daughter of Orville and Shirley Chinn, was born June 7, 1949, in Cherokee, Iowa. Her childhood years were spent in Cherokee, where she attended school and graduated from Washington High School.

 Sue was united in marriage to Ronald Wright of Schaller, IA, where they farmed and helped raise their two children. She then worked for Coast to Coast and then J.C. Penny.

 She enjoyed collecting Knick-knacks, working on craft projects, and baking. She also loved spending time in her garden, canning, and making the most delicious Christmas and holiday cookies. Most of all, her grandchildren meant the world to her. She attended many of the grandkids sports as often as possible. Christmas was her favorite time of year and she loved spoiling her grandchildren as much as possible.

 Sue passed away on Tuesday, October 26, 2021, at Cherokee Regional Medical Center in Cherokee at the age of 72. She was preceded in death by her parents, Orville and Shirley Chinn; grandpa, Bill Griffin; and brother-in-law, Ron Wolterman.

 She is survived by her two sons, Trevor Wright of Schaller, IA and his children, Chayden and Kade; and Cody (Emily) Wright and their children, Morgan, Carter, and Haley of Holstein, IA; siblings, Ellen Wolterman of Cherokee, IA, Kathy Chinn of Alta, IA, Larry (Louise) Chinn of Humboldt, IA, Mike Chinn of Cherokee, and Bill (Gloria) Brady of Cherokee, IA; and special friend, Judy Wall of Schaller, IA.
