“I was so sad to hear that Sandy had passed away. Sandy, Lanette, and Diane worked for us about 50 years ago at Bill's Pizza in Anamosa. It always seemed that the world was a happier place when Sandy was around. I'm sure she will be missed.

“I was blessed to know Sandy through work at Genesis. She became a mentor and friend and will always be "the Boss Lady." I will remember her most for her ability to advocate for those who could not advocate for themselves. She had a special way of making everyone feel unique and valued, finding the positives and strengths in all of us. Thoughts and prayers for her family, whom she loved dearly.”
